It was 2007, in the streets of Marrakesh, that two Moroccan brothers hatched an idea. Inspired by the beauty of their native land's design, they felt compelled to share that beauty with the world. It was in this spirit that MyCraftwork was born. The concept was simple - to design high quality, handmade, Moroccan goods tailored to the American market. As luck would have it, the brothers, Tao and Houssine Bellamine, were positioned perfectly for the task. Both born and raised in Morocco, Tao has settled in the U.S. where he works as a senior electronics design engineer for a multinational corporation in Massachusetts. Houssine Bellamine remains in Marrakesh, where he works as the CFO of a large resort hotel group. While Tao initiated the market research, Houssine sought out the most skilled artisan cooperatives in Morocco. Today, their growing company offers some of the absolute best in authentic Moroccan handmade artistry.

This is what some of our clients have to say about us (All reviews have been verified by Houzz!):
Beautiful Custom Work!
I contacted Tao at MyCraftWork many months ago when we were considering getting a Moroccan lantern for the entry of our new house. Tao was very prompt answering my questions and very helpful and detailed in his explanations. When I decided to hold off for a few months, Tao was totally professional and gracious about the delay. Once we were ready to go ahead with our purchase, Tao helped us design the exact lantern we wanted. Tao was always available to answer our questions along the way. Our gorgeous custom handmade work of art arrived yesterday and we couldn't be happier. Thank you to Tao and the incredible craftspeople who worked together to bring our vision to life!

Amazing customer service
I needed a Moroccan rug for my newly renovated living room. I was browsing thru Pinterest boards until I stumbled on mycraftwork's page. I got in touch with them to inquire about a model they had on their website. I placed an order and they included a beautiful surprise gift (Moroccan Napkin rings) to the rug! Tao was very helpful. He asked me to try the rug in a few places and told me that I had a couple of weeks to return it if I wanted to. I was very happy with the taznakht rug and their small company customer service is amazing. I just placed a lantern order with them actually :)

Instantly fell in love!
I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Tao Bellamine on a lighting project for one of my clients in San Diego, CA. After showing my client some of the custom Moroccan lantern designs Mr. Bellamine makes, he instantly fell in love with the beauty of his crafts. We ended up ordering over 12 lanterns to go with every space in my client's house. From pendants and lanterns to sconces and lamps. Everything was custom made and was delivered on time! My client and I couldn't be happier. Will definitely work with this company again.
