Moroccan embroidery is a feminine tradition passed on from mother to daughter, generation to generation. Throughout Moroccan history, this artform has been associated with the upper social class' wedding traditions since it demanded such high precision, dexterity and perseverance.
Although this traditionnal role has in large part disappeared today, at Mycraftwork we time travel in order to rediscover this refined craft through our beautiful hand embroidered linen creations. We only use the best materials, so for the softest bed and bath linens, we selected the best cotton in the world: Egyptian cotton, known for its quality and tightly woven percale, satin or cotton veil.
Whether it's needlework or crochet, our designs are inspired by timehonored Moroccan symbols and emblematic elements such as the "Zellige" (Traditional Moroccan Tile), "Mashrabiya" (Moroccan lattice work), Saffron, Mosaic, or even the crescent moon, which are pulled from their traditional frameworks and distinctly featured in fine embroidery on crisp, white, timeless linen.
As of today, we have over 23 designs that we can execute in 13 different colors. You can find some of our featured linen designs below, and for more information please check our Linens Designer Catalog and let us know how we can help you!
